The Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation (CIPEC) is a voluntary partnership between the Government of Canada and industry to improve Canada's industrial energy efficiency. It brings together companies and industry associations that represent more than 98 percent of all industrial energy use in Canada. CIPEC works to promote innovative ways to cut costs and increase competiveness.
CIPEC Atlantic Taskforce
CIPEC taskforces meet throughout the year to set targets and develop action plans for improving energy efficiency in more than 25 industrial sectors and regions. More than 50 industrial associations and hundreds of companies come together to form the taskforces and become industry leaders.
