CIPEC Altlantic Taskforce meeting January 2008

Purpose:
This was the first Taskforce meeting to take place in the region in two years.  The objectives for the meeting was to introduce local businesses to CIPEC and its mandate and to give participants information on what they could do to improve their company's energy management.

Overview
The original target for attendance was for 18 business representatives to attend including the Eco-Efficiency Centre and NRCan representatives. The final registration number was 36 with 29 in attendance at the meeting.

Concluding thoughts by Richard Janecky, NRCan

The session went very smoothly. Networking among went well and many participants asked to be added to the Taskforce distribution list so they could be kept up to date on these events.
